After December 31, 2016, phone support for Type to Learn 4 will be limited and users will be directed to our online support site. As your hardware technology changes, Type to Learn 4 may not be compatible with future updates, patches, plugins and/or applications. Symptom: The program has previously worked and now when the student attempts to log-in it is asking for an account code.
Why?: The Settings.ini was not properly configured or has been reset.
Solution: If you have other computers that are currently working and not asking for the account code the quickest way to resolve this would be to view the Settings.ini file located on the computer that is working.
The location of that file depending on if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit or MAC:
- C:\Program Files\Sunburst\Type to Learn 4
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Sunburst\Type to Learn 4
- Applications > Sunburst > Type to Learn 4
The second line of the Settings.ini should have an IP address along with the port 3000 input.
