ION Quick Start Guide
Minimum ION Server Requirements:
- Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, or Windows XP Professional Operating System
- Static IP address
- DVD Drive (for installation discs)
- 10/100 Mbps Network
- Internet connection required for updates
- Pentium 4, 2.5 GHz (or compatible)
- 15GB available hard disk space
- 2GB RAM (suggested per site license) RAM requirements vary depending on license type
- Each media piece averages 4MB in size and is cached from the server to the client as requested by the user.
Minimum ION Client Requirements:
- Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Mac (Intel only) 10.4.11 or higher
- 10/100 Mbps Network (for connection to server)
- Local network access to the school's EON server is required. Access to the public internet is not required
- Pentium 1.5 GHz (or compatible)
- 1GB available hard disk space
- 512MB RAM
- Digital Projector (for whole class instruction)
- Stereo Speakers
