Within the edredi portal, designing and creating Lessons are an important part of Lesson management. The portal provides a great online tool to help in designing different Lesson models that address the student’s academic needs. It allows the teacher to collect and organize his/her Resources such as documents, websites, videos and images into Categories which can then be organized by the type of resources, student group, activities and student projects.
Whether one is an elementary teacher or a secondary teacher, either would have the flexibility in how the teacher organizes and presents his/her edredi Lessons to the students. So what are the different lesson models? A common lesson model is presenting one lesson where the Categories of apps, documents, videos, etc. are specific to the lesson topic. Here are some other lesson models to consider.
Elementary School Model (Lessons-One Theme)
This model illustrates lessons revolving around one theme or unit.

This model illustrates a list of student activities for each day of the week.
Secondary School Model (One Teacher)
This model illustrates a series of lessons associated with daily periods.

This model illustrates a team approach to presenting student activities and resources by subject.
