To save time, teachers can edit Categories and Lessons from a given Category or Lesson Editing Page. These functions save users time and steps when building and creating Lessons to distribute to students.
The Edit Panel - Categories
The Edit Panel allows users to quickly add new websites or files to a given Category:
Adding New Website
When adding new website Resources, all you need to do is enter the URL.
Note: this function is for adding websites only. Whitelisting can be added or edited from within the website Resource's Properties.
Adding New File
When adding a new file, users can name the file Resource and then upload the desired file.
Add From PlayStore
When adding an app from the PlayStore, use this option search and link to the app directly from the PlayStore.
Show My Apps in Play
Click on this option to review the apps that you already have in your account on the PlayStore.
Change Wallpaper and Change Icon
Users can also change wallpapers and icons from the Edit Panel. By clicking on "Change Wallpaper" or "Change Icon", the user will be able to upload new images as well as view all of the available images uploaded by the Organization.
Additionally, there is an option where users can search Google for relevant images to use. The Google search generated is based on the name given to the new Resource.
Removing a Resource
To remove a Resource from the Category, drag it and drop it into the Remove Resource Drawer. The Resource will still be available for later use in the Resources Management Page, but will no longer appear in the Category that it was removed from.
The Edit Panel - Lessons
From the Lesson Editing Page, the "Add Category" option can be found in the Edit Panel. Users can create new Categories to automatically add to the given Lesson.
When users click "Add Category", a popup box will appear, prompting to add a name to the new Category. Users will then be taken to the new Category's Editing Page where users can then add Resources.
Users can also change wallpapers and icons from the Edit Panel. By clicking on "Change Wallpaper", the user will be able to view all of the available images uploaded by the Organization, as well as upload new images. Additionally, users can search Google for relevant images for use. The Google search is generated based on the name given to the new Resource.
Users can also remove Categories from the given Lesson by dragging the Category and dropping it into the Remove Category Drawer next to the tablet screen:
